What’s up gang!

Well, tonight is my last fill-in spot for the 514 Session with HGLDT, (not to worry, Vilify and I have our spot secured on Friday nights 9-11pm EST).

Tonight, I will have our good bud LAZERFACE come in to tag with me, since Vilify is gone to Toronto to play Dubslingers tomorrow (wed) at Thymeless.

We’ll be looking at bringing in guest on a more regular basis, somewhat like BrokenScience Radio. Lazerface is definitely the person to start with.

DjDVD has been killing it for years in pretty much every style. Now a lover of Dubstep, DVD is the bi-weekly co-host of Broken Science w/ myself. DVD brings the harshest, darkest bass rumblings that he can find. An absolute fan of the dark and heavy, he goes balls out every time. This makes him the best choice to take my seat at CKDU once i leave for MTL at the end of May. (Moldylox will be taking over the drum-n-bass portion)

This past Thursday Vilify (aka 420Jenny) was in Halifax, so she dropped in for some dark drum’n'bass and dubstep. DVD makes an apperance halfway through the show, and jumps onto the decks for a 2 record switch once the dubstep starts. Pretty fun show.

This is the recording from our first all dubstep event in Halifax.
Everything went well, except my one of my faders broke off my mixer
with 20mins to go in the night but it was a blast and well worth it!

I wish i had a track listing for this mix, but we don’t sorry.
Lots of heavy heavy dubstep and a bunch of classics from 2008.
We tagged by 30 mins w/ DVD to start, then 1 for 1 for the last 30mins.
