The celebration continues this time with Vancouver’s DJ Cure.
DJ Cure has been doing big for a while now, with tons of experience under his belt and at the helm of one of the best Canadian Dubstep labels, AUFECT Recordings ( get to know it !! – http://www.myspace.com/aufect ) it’s no surprise this guy is holding down the fort while building an extra fort in the back as an expansion.

This mix is packed full of dubs, all of which are sick. Bigs to all the Vancity crews and DJ Cure for providing this excellent mix for the 1st anniversary of the podcast.

Well, it’s been a full year already since the first mix. To celebrate this I’ve got 2 sick exclusive mixes coming straight from the East coast to the West coast of Canada. Both these DJs are at the top of their game and are owning things in their parts of the country.

Here is a little bio action:

Birmingham dubstep producer/DJ Emalkay, pronounced M – L – K, is one of the most exciting talents to emerge on the scene in recent times, and is certainly one to watch out for in 2010. With the recently released ‘When I Look at You’, 2009 has so far witnessed Emalkay’s sudden rise to prominence.

‘When I Look at You’ has not only been heavily supported by the scene’s biggest artists, it was chosen by both BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and the Guardian newspaper as single of the week, and has been receiving a healthy amount of airplay courtesy of Radio 1 and 1Xtra. However, not content with producing arguably the biggest underground anthem of the year, Emalkay has also been busy remixing tracks for the likes of Freeland, BBE and the Amon Tobin/Doubleclick duo Two Fingers, which featured the vocals of UK hip hop artist Sway.

Having been previously signed to the Boka Records imprint, Emalkay already has a healthy back catalogue of releases under his belt – most notably the 2007 anthem ‘Mecha’, which helped pioneer the heavier sound of dubstep with its cinematic, sluggish beats and gut-wrenching bass. As of 2008 – and with the production of ‘Explicit’ – Emalkay was snapped up by the prestigious Dub Police label that helped pave the way for his most recent success.

Now, with a handful of fresh tracks circulating amongst the hottest names in dubstep, things can only get better for the Birmingham producer who has since gone on to headline events all over the world, including the United States and Australia.

Some of you might have noticed I didnt post a J’aime Le Dubstep mix this week, so here’s how I’m gonna make it up to you all…. by sharing with you this fly ass mix my man ALE FILLMAN from Dirty Circuit Records just finished up and posted online.

Up to bat this week for mix no39 is North Carolina based dubstep producer Mindelixir. If you don’t know yet, Mindelixir has this swanky, futuristic, deep approach to dubstep which often leads to very fun tracks. I’m very excited to have Mindelixir join in and deliver us such a sweet mix. I’ll be looking forward to his first full lenght album coming out soon, dubbed “futurism”. (Big shouts to Badman Press while we’re at it too)

Peep this if your still scratching your heads.

Little bio action:
Mindelixir always has something up his sleeve.He has recently burned stages alive alongside the likes of Rusko, Skream, Joker, Benga, Dieselboy, Pretty Lights, and Eliot Lipp. He has collaboration and remix projects in the works for unbelievable artists from the Bronx to Singapore. He puts horse shoes in his dubstep boxing gloves. Watch out.
